Alexandria Women’s Auxiliary BBQ Dinner May 21

The Salvation Army Alexandria Corps Women’s Auxiliary is holding an old-fashion barbeque dinner on Saturday, May 21, Armed Forces Day, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Corps located at 1804 Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria.

The event will feature Over the Hill Farm’s freshly roasted pulled pork, macaroni salad, baked beans, corn bread, a beverage and dessert.  Over the Hill Farm is ranked 5th in the nation for whole pig barbequing.

The cost is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for a child plate consisting of a hot dog, chips and a beverage.  Anyone showing a U.S. military ID at the door will receive a 10% discount.

All proceeds from this event will benefit programs offered by The Salvation Army Alexandria.
